Strategy

The Alquity Asia Fund focuses on quality growth companies, with a particular focus on those that are domestically driven It takes a highly differentiated, thematic approach, with a focus on smaller markets and wide-moat global leaders, allowing for significant off-index exposure.

The fund employs a multi-cap strategy, investing across the market spectrum regardless of company size. ESG considerations are fully integrated into the investment process, supporting effective risk mitigation throughout.

Mike Sell
Head of Global Emerging Markets, Alquity Investment Management

Mike joined Alquity in 2014 and leads all emerging markets equity investment, bringing over 30 years’ experience investing across the asset class. Before Alquity he held senior emerging markets roles at F&C, Thames River and Baring Asset Management.

Kieron Kader
Co-Portfolio Manager, Alquity Investment Management

Kieron joined Alquity in 2019 and was promoted to Associate Portfolio Manager in 2020. He has over 10 years investing in emerging and frontier markets, is a CFA charterholder, and joined Alquity from BP.

Daniel Billis
Associate Portfolio Manager, Alquity Investment Management

Daniel joined Alquity in 2018 and has over six years in emerging and frontier market equities. He holds a first-class degree in Economics from the University of Exeter.
